I qualified as a personal trainer in 2007 and spent close to a decade coaching women before stepping away in 2016 to build my career in accounting.

I continued my professional development during that time and returned to coaching with broader experience and a more refined approach.

I am a qualified personal trainer, a menopause and exercise specialist, and have further training in biomechanics and movement precision.

The early sessions focus on movement quality and mechanics. You learn how to lift properly before load increases. That foundation protects you long term and allows strength to build safely and steadily. You are not expected to arrive confident. That is built here.
Yes. Strength training becomes more important during perimenopause and menopause, not less. Hormonal changes affect muscle retention, bone density, recovery, and how your body stores fat. No. Women do not have the hormonal profile required to build significant muscle mass in the way men do. What structured strength training does is increase lean muscle, improve bone density, and change how your body feels and performs. Most women become firmer, stronger, and more defined. Not larger. Before training begins, we have a consultation. This can be in person or online. We discuss your goals, training history, lifestyle, and any injuries or health considerations. Your first session is an assessment. We look at how you move, establish your baseline strength, and identify what needs attention. You will not be pushed to exhaustion. You will leave with clarity, structure, and a clear direction for your training.
I work with a maximum of 10 clients at any given time so each programme receives proper attention. Coaching is more than delivering a session. It involves planning, review, progression tracking, and ongoing support. Limiting numbers allows me to stay focused, organised, and fully invested in each client's development. When a space becomes available, it opens intentionally. Not because of churn, but because the standard remains high.
